Wild West EquiFest Horse Expo 2026

We are excited to announce our upcoming Wild West EquiFest Horse Expo, taking place on September 12, 2026, at The Pavillion (indoor arena) at Goshen County Fairgrounds in Torrington, Wyoming. This event is 1 day only from 9 am to 5 pm.
This event attracts horse enthusiasts and families from the community and surrounding areas. Activities include:
- Vendors
- Performances
- Demonstrations
- Kids Activity Corner: Photo Booth, Face painting, Color Station, Craft Table
- Concessions

Performances
Jake Riley, Cowboy Poet & Storyteller
Jake Riley has performed at events from Minnesota to Nevada, including 6 times at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, Nevada. Jake's work leans toward the more contemporary, which draws old and young alike. He loves to share a good story, and his delivery is engaging and often quite animated. He also enjoys reciting the classics and considers himself extremely blessed to take part in carrying the tradition forward.

Shockwave Trick Riders
Denver, Colorado based group of sixteen trick riders that train year-round to deliver big performances with a big team. They are stuntmen and stuntwomen that perform high velocity tricks on horseback.

1 full hour of action! Westenaires is a nonprofit youth organization in Golden, Colorado that teaches horsemanship, teamwork, and leadership to youth aged 9-19. The organization has proudly trained young people to use their talents and skills in the best traditions of the west.
